Rebranding Carmel View School

The Story of Carmel View School

Carmel Convent holds the distinction of being the Silver Jubilee memorial project. This initiative commenced in 2013. On September 28th, 2013, the town bishop, Rev. Norman Kingoo Wambua, blessed and inaugurated the school and Convent premises. Sr. Susheela A.C. and other dignitaries graced the occasion with their presence.

For the locals, the construction of this establishment was akin to witnessing the birth of a newborn, a thing of wonder and admiration. In January 2014, Sr. Irene D’Souza took on the dual role of superior and head teacher of the school. The school commenced its operations on January 5th, 2014, with an initial enrollment of 5 learners.

By 2015, the construction of the boarding house was successfully concluded. About the turn of the third quarter, the school obtained registration from the Education department. Currently, the primary section accommodates over 500 students, including more than 100 boarders.
